This foundation leadership course is an introduction to the principles of leadership and the practical of use of SMEAC (Situation, Mission, Execution, Any Questions, Check Understanding) in leadership scenarios.
This basic leadership course is an introduction to action centred leadership, leadership styles and techniques, including understanding the role of effective communication.
This intermediate silver leadership course explores teamwork, group dynamics, leadership culture, followership, roles, management verses leadership, target setting, prioritisation, delegation, team and individual leadership and practical leadership exercises.
To achieve the gold leadership badge cadets must complete a challenging leadership programme that produces a high level of competency and develops the potential for leadership instructors.

Fieldcraft is used to develop cadets' leadership skills when under pressure.
You will start by learning the basics of personal camouflage and how to move as an individual in the field, then go on to learn how to work together as a section in the field, before eventually commanding your own section.
Working as a team to patrol an area at night and deal with a mock ambush situation is one of the most exciting exercises you will experience.
